Parks are usually seen as the places that people could spend time with their families to make good memories, or the places that could let people walk their dogs or just walking for refreshing their minds. Parks are the places that been built because of these reasons. They are the places that “essence precedes existence”.
They are the things that are always ready to be used by people.
As a human being, just like I write in the first person when I write about myself, I feel that I always prioritize the thought of which kinds of feelings me myself will feel from my surroundings, which settings will comfort me best, what tool is the best for me to do something. I have already get used to ignore the feeling of all the things that are used by me by thinking they don’t have feelings.
However, there was a coincidence that made me have the thought that I have never had before. About 3 months ago, I spent the whole afternoon in a park in my hometown. I was sitting down on a metal bench near the gate of the park for several hours. When I was sitting there, I saw people who get off work and walk through the park to take the bus, I saw parents with their child walking out after having fun in the park, I also saw the beverage sellers left the shed where they stay for the whole day. I feel that I become a part of the park as the bench that I sit at the time, and I was experiencing the thing that the park would experience once for every day. Then naturally, I started to think about what the park would feel when it experiences this.
How would they feel when every time they saw everyone leaving them?
Will they feel betrayed after seeing all the people left it after using it to have some fun?
